The Guest (Viešnia) (2017)
Secluded, asleep Lithuanian village, which hadn’t had any changes for many years, is shaken by unexpected news. The old lady Martha’s farm, where she lives with the pensioner daughter, son in law and grandson is going to be visited by the guest from America – Hannah. She is Martha’s cousin, who emigrated as a child with her parents, while fleeing from war. Old ladies haven’t seen each other for almost seventy years. Hannah, left alone in America, decided to search for relatives in her native village.
